per STB decision).
Canadian National took over operation on 2/1/2009.
Kirk yard and US Steel track went to Gary Rwy.

EJ&E History
On 1/1/2013, the Elgin Joliet & Eastern Rwy was merged into the Wisconsin Central RR with the Wisconsin Central RR as the surviving railroad. This is a Canadian National RR intra-corporate family merger.
